By accessing or using our language tutoring services (individual or group, online or in-person), you agree to the following terms:
- Services
- DFL Languages offers language courses for adults, in individual or group sessions.
- Lessons can take place online via Zoom or other video conferencing platforms, or in-person at the client’s office or another agreed location.
- Lesson schedules and content are agreed between the client and the tutor. Any changes must be communicated to DFL Languages to ensure proper coordination with the tutor.
- Payment
- Lessons are invoiced at the end of each month, based on the number of hours delivered.
- Payment is due upon receipt of the invoice via bank transfer to the account specified on the invoice.
- DFL Languages may adjust fees with reasonable notice to the client.
- CancellationandMissed Sessions
- Clients must inform DFL Languages at least 24 hours in advance to cancel or reschedule a session.
- Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice will be charged at full rate.
- Client Responsibilities
- The client must provide accurate information necessary to organise lessons (contact details, address, special requirements).
- The client must notify DFL Languages of any changes to schedules, objectives, or learning needs to allow proper coordination with the tutor.
- The client is responsible for the students’ attendance and participation during lessons.
- DFL Languages Responsibilities
- DFL Languages ensures that all tutors have undergone appropriate checks (DBS, right to work in the UK, references) before teaching.
- All information regarding students and their progress is confidential and shared only with the relevant tutor, unless written consent is given by the client.
- DFL Languages agrees to deliver a termly evaluation of the students’ progress based on the tutor’s observations and the targeted outcomes.
- In the event of a tutor’s exceptional unavailability (illness, emergency), DFL Languages will make reasonable efforts to provide a replacement tutor.
- Lessons are intended to support learning; DFL Languages does not guarantee academic results.
- Data Protection
- DFL Languages collects and uses personal data (name, address, email, phone number) solely for lesson management and communication with clients.
- Personal data is processed in accordance with GDPR and will not be shared with third parties without explicit consent, except where legally required.
- Limitation of Liability
- DFL Languages is not responsible for academic outcomes or interruptions due to unforeseen events (tutor illness, technical issues, force majeure).
- Clients use our services at their own risk.
- Changes toTerms
- DFL Languages may update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Clients will be notified of changes on the website.
- Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
